There are a number of the grants and supports which our clients can benefit from for upgrade work undertaken.
Better Energy Homes Scheme
Homes built before 2006 are eligible to apply for a grant under the SEAI Better Energy Homes Scheme. The grant amount for heating controls upgrade is €700. There is an additional grant of €50 towards the cost of the BER. The grant amount is paid directly to your chosen bank account after the work is completed. How does the grant process work:
- Contact us for a free quotation
- Apply online to SEAI for grant. You will require: Your MPRN number (found on your electricity bill). Our installer details: Company Name: Plumbtech Ltd. Installer Number: 10264 Area: Munster
- You will receive confirmation of eligibility from the SEAI. Accept the offer and print the confirmation.
- Have a BER carried out after the works are completed. Our recommended BER assessor is Daniel Kinneally (083-3456080).
- Send completed forms to SEAI.
Carbon Credit Grant
Carbon credit grants are an additional incentive for homeowners to upgrade to a more energy efficient boiler and heating controls.
If you are an existing Electric Ireland customer or you plan to switch to Electric Ireland you be eligible for an additional grant of up to €510 under their carbon credit scheme. We will take care of the application process and you will receive the credit on your electric ireland account.
